The Escape adds even more customizability with four different engine choices, including some hybrid options that move Ford's favorite entry SUV into the future. Standard is a 1.5L EcoBoost engine with auto start-stop technology, which helps lower emissions as you wait at stoplights. Next is the 2.0L EcoBoost, equipped with the same tech, and adding a towing capacity of 3,500 lbs. The great mileage range isn't the only impressive thing about the hybrid 2.5L iVCT Atkinson-Cycle I-4 Engine; it's got cooled seats and a small battery, keeping the Escape moving forward. Your final engine option is a plug-in 2.5L iVCT Atkinson-Cycle I-4 engine, capable of a charge time of up to 3.5 hours. With 250 horsepower on the 2.0L, the Escape blows the competition out of the water.

With standard features like automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and a rear view camera, you'll be more protected than ever before.
